Dense Fog Advisory issued November 11 at 7:37AM PST expiring November 11 at 11:00AM PST by NWS Sacramento CA

Areas Affected: Central Sacramento Valley; Southern Sacramento Valley; Northern San Joaquin Valley

Clear skies and surface moisture from recent rains has allow fog

to from this morning in the central and southern Sacramento valley

and northern San Joaquin valleys. This fog has become locally

dense. Take care while driving in this area this morning as

visibility at highway speeds can go from fair to near zero very

quickly.

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Dense Fog

Advisory, which is in effect until 11 AM PST this morning. The

Dense Fog Advisory has been cancelled.

* VISIBILITY…less than one quarter mile to locally near zero.

* IMPACTS…Dangerous driving conditions.

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be

reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use

your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of

you.
