Cody, 15 year old fire victim of Friday’s OroBangor Fire died from his injuries this morning.

This morning Cody Jennings was pronounced dead after a devastating late night house fire in OroBangor Hwy and Oak Knoll that claimed his life. Young life gone too soon.

Cody was taken to the UC Davis facility after the fire and had been on life support since the incident.

The family will put a statement on a later time.

An investigation was started by the fire department as all fires are investigated to determine the cause of the fire.

Pray for Cody’s family so they can find comfort on this very difficult times.

Updates – @ 2:58am City of Oroville Firefighters posted: “Units on scene of a structure fire at the intersection of Oak Knoll Way and Oro Bangor Hwy. Trapped occupant located and rescued by Engine company. Occupant transported by First Responder Medics in critical condition. The scene is currently under investigation.”

@ 2:00am asking for more resources and Red Cross for one person.

@ 1:10am Medics transporting a person to The Hospital.

@ 12:59am One rescued Continue.

@ 12:45am Looking for a person that is not accounted for on a rescue mission. 2 people outside.
