A shoplifting arrest in Chico yielded a man with warrants and drugs on him.

On Friday at about 4 p.m. Chico police were called to the Kohl’s store by security personnel who saw a man suspected of shoplifting at the location.

When police arrived, they detained him when he left the store, and had property that was taken from the store.

He was identified as Thomas Rainbolt, 50, of Chico. He had three warrants, including a felony warrant for car theft, and when searched they found methamphetamine and meth paraphernalia, according to the release.

Rainbolt was arrested for the warrants, shoplifting, and possession of methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia.

He was sent to the Butte County jail facility in Oroville.
